Lisa Vander Bloomer, PT, CSCS, CMTPT
Pelvic Floor Specialist
Lisa is Certified in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (Dry Needling) and is a Pelvic Floor Specialist working with both women and men.  She believes in using a well-rounded manual approach and individualized attention in assisting her clients to restore their full function.   
Lisa graduated from Marquette  University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.  She started her career with NovaCare Outpatient Rehabilitation in Milwaukee, where she worked for 7 years and held positions as both Physical Therapist and Clinic Manager.  In December of 2000, Lisa received a Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Therapy by completing residency training with Kaiser Permanente in Hayward, California.   Lisa then spent 12 years working with Freedom Physical Therapy in Milwaukee.  In august of 2013, Lisa relocated to Charlotte, where she worked with Manual Therapy Associates in Pineville until stepping out on her own to open MBody Physical Therapy in June 2015.    Lisa treats 75% of her caseload in Pelvic Pain and dysfunction with men comprising about 40% of those clients.  Lisa continues to treat all areas of the body and has grown her business through strictly word-of mouth referrals. 
Lisa is a certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.  She has been working in the area of pelvic pain and dysfunction since 2003.  She received her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy in 2010, and was certified in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy (Dry Needling) through Myopain Seminars in 2012.   Lisa is a Certified Triathlon Coach and has her Level 1 CrossFit Trainer Certification.  Lisa’s professional affiliations include the American Physical Therapy Association Women’s Health Section, the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, and the International Pelvic Pain Society. 
In her time away from work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, her son, Henry, and her dog, Sully.  Together they love to travel, hike, run, and take on home improvement projects.
